While reading the Grim Dark group on Facebook, I saw a fun, fan-created book trailer for Mark Lawrence’s Prince of Thorns.

So I decided what better way to start the holiday break than by hunkering down with my 12-year old daughter and making a book trailer of our own for my most recent book, Black River.

This was new to us (though she has made movies with her iPad at school for various projects) and took us about two hours to put together (including digging through her boxes and bags of toys to find the knights and fighters that she inherited from me).

So crack open the popcorn, sit back and enjoy.
