Cover Art: Bran Mak Morn

October 5, 2014 by admin

This week an assortment of covers for Bran Mak Morn, the Pictish hero created by Robert E. Howard, best known for his Conan stories.

The first is a classic cover typical of books for Howard: the near naked barbarian swarmed by enemies.

And the final cover image is from Karl Edgar Wagner’s story of Bran Mak Morn. Again, not very realistic but a great sense of action and atmosphere in the cover.
